THE FIFTH

COMMANDMENT

What is the relationship between the eviction of Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden and the fifth commandment?

Why couldn't Adam and Eve stay longer in this wonderful garden even though Yehoah Elohim gave it to them some time before?

The key to find and understand the answers to these questions is the close link which exists between the tree of life and the fifth commandment of the Law of the Lord.

Indeed, the Garden of Eden is the single place where the tree of life can be found; anyone in the Garden of Eden has thus a free access to the tree of life and consequently to eternity ! The Divine Family (in Hebrew: Elohim) reveals in the Bible that the essential reason of the eviction of Adam and Eve is to prevent their access to the tree of life. Indeed, if Adam or Eve had consumed from the tree of life, they would have become automatically eternal beings and they could have prolonged their days in the Garden of Eden! This is precisely what Elohim wanted to prevent:

"22Then Yehoah Elohim said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever"-- 23therefore Yehoah Elohim sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken. 24So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life."

(Genesis 3: 22-24)

The Father of Adam and Eve.

Elohim, being the Creator of Adam and Eve and the One who gave birth to them is in other words their Father just like, later, He was the Father of Jesus.

But Adam and Eve scorned their Father and did not honor Him by trampling underfoot His commandments when they decided to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Indeed they transgressed the fifth commandment which says:

"Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which Yehoah your Elohim is giving you." (Exodus 20: 12)

Having read this commandment, as it was pronounced under very spectacular conditions by Yehoah himself from the mount Sinai, you will now understand that our Lord gives us here an additional proof that He does not change: indeed, He applied to Adam and Eve the same law in the same way as He did it much later to the children of Israel and in each case, He drove them out of the Garden of Eden or of the Holy Land, the territory that He had given to them and where He was staying with them. The Creator thus expelled Adam and Eve of the Garden of Eden because they did not honour Him, their Father and Creator!

To be immortal or become mortal

This is the true question!

Yehoah invites us to contemplate a particularly significant point in this fifth command, it is the concept of staying forever with Him in His Kingdom in other words become like Him ETERNAL.

But the opposite is to become mortals like Adam and Eve. Indeed Adam and Eve violated the fifth commandment which requires honouring our father and our mother. Thus as John confirms it also in the New Testament, they made a sin:

"Whoever commiteth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law." (I John 3: 4)

The New Testament explains like the Old one (Yehoah did not change) that the consequence of a sin is mortality in other words the loss of eternity:

" For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of Elohim is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6: 23)

Other men had also to undergo the same sentence after having violated this fifth commandment by having dishonoured their Creator:

12 Now the sons of Eli were corrupt; they did not know Yehoah...
17Therefore the sin of the young men was very great before Yehoah, for men abhorred the offering of Yehoah…
29Why do you kick at My sacrifice and My offering which I have commanded in My dwelling place, and honor your sons (Eli's sons) more than Me, to make yourselves fat with the best of all the offerings of Israel My people?...

34Now this shall be a sign to you that will come upon your two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas: in one day they shall die, both of them… "

 (I Samuel 2: 12-36)

The continuation of the story confirms the power of the Word of our Lord and you can read in I Samuel 4 that even Eli passed away at the news of the death of his sons.

But Who is Our Spiritual Mother?

Elohim asks us to honour our parents? But if we understand that we have two types of parents to honour: on one side our parents according to the flesh who gave our birth physically in the world but on the other hand, we have also our spiritual family with Elohim Himself to whom we address our prayers, the One we call our Father. This spiritual family must be honoured in the same way as our parents according to the flesh.

But if we know our celestial Father, the identity of our spiritual Mother is much less known! However this Mother exists and the Bible speaks to us about it:

"26but the Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all. 27For it is written:

        "Rejoice, O barren,
        You who do not bear!
        Break forth and shout,
You who are not in labor!
For the desolate has many more children
Than she who has a husband."

28Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. 29But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now. 30Nevertheless what does the Scripture say? "Cast out the bondwoman and her son, for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman." 31So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman but of the free." (Galatians 4: 26-31)

Here is revealed the identity of our prestigious spiritual Mother, Jerusalem above in the sky, our Mother whom we must honour too. Indeed, if the fifth of the Ten Commandments requires us to honour our parents as well terrestrial as spiritual, there is a priority order to follow. About this precise priority order, Jesus gave us as an example:

"41 His parents went to Jerusalem every year at the Feast of the Passover. 42And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the feast. 43When they had finished the days, as they returned, the Boy Jesus lingered behind in Jerusalem. And Joseph and His mother] did not know it; 44but supposing Him to have been in the company, they went a day's journey, and sought Him among their relatives and acquaintances. 45So when they did not find Him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking Him. 46Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions. 47And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers. 48So when they saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, "Son, why have You done this to us? Look, Your father and I have sought You anxiously."
49And He said to them, "Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?" 50But they did not understand the statement which He spoke to them." (Luke 2: 41-50)

The lesson that Jesus teaches us here is that Elohim, our Father in the sky, should get the first rank. It means that the honor we owe to our parents on earth should never deprive Elohim of the honor that is due to him.

Moreover, Jesus has the same spiritual Mother as any believer; this Mother is wonderfully described in all Her beauty in the book of the Revelation of John:

"1 Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. 2Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.
3And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. 4His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. 5She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to Elohim and His throne."  (Revelation 12: 1-5)

Jesus has the same preferred respect towards this Mother in the sky as He puts Her before Marie, his mother according to the flesh:

"46 While He was still talking to the multitudes, behold, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking to speak with Him. 47Then one said to Him, "Look, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You."
48But He answered and said to the one who told Him, "Who is My mother and who are My brothers?" 49And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, "Here are My mother and My brothers! 50For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother."  (Matthew 12: 46-50)

So, we must take into account these words of Jesus and honour in second place, after the Father, our spiritual Mother, the Jerusalem that started to give birth to our future spiritual body, the Head of which is the Head of the Church: Indeed the Head, alias Jesus, is already out since His resurrection circa 2000 years ago when He was born again in the World to come!

Pay attention to not let you be seduced by the many satanic counterfeits that are already adopted by so many so-called "Christians" such as the belief that Mary, the mother of Jesus according to the flesh, has become after its fictitious resurrection the mother of humanity. This trickery led many Catholics to infringe the Ten Commandments by manufacturing and worshipping statues representing this Mary; they made her a goddess sitting in the sky as a queen. This is big lye and we need to flee these unhealthy practices.
