Be very careful, seduction will try to catch you

by any mean in these end times!

Throughout the Bible, Yehoah Elohim, whom many call God, warns human beings against seduction.

Let us try to understand what our Creator means by the dangers that are in front of us so that we can take all the actions needed to avoid them.

Seduction is a word whose root goes together with the misguidance that leads to perdition. In other words, when we are seduced, we quit the path that leads to eternal life. It must be remembered that the Word of Yehoah is a lamp giving the necessary light to stay in the path that leads to life:

King David writes in Psalm 119, verses 105 and 110.

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.... The wicked have laid a snare for me, Yet I have not strayed from Your precepts.

Adam was the second person in mankind history who was seduced and misled: consequently he lost access to the tree that gives life. Indeed instead of keeping in his heart the words of Yehoah, his Creator, he listened to the words of his wife. Both Adam and Eve were deceived by the lies of Satan who claimed that Yehoah lied about the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and that on the contrary, if they consume its fruits, they would become like Elohim! But the opposite was true for their loss!

Advent of the impious man before the Day of the Lord.

Paul warns us in his second letter to the Thessalonians in chapter 2 not to be deceived by believing that the advent of Jesus has already taken place:

"3Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of Elohim, showing himself that he is God."

Indeed, a false prophet, symbolized by the beast that comes out from the earth and described in Revelation 13 (verses 11-17), will come and deceive most of the human beings on earth making them believe that the man of sin, the one who is also called the impious man, is the only true god to worship. This false prophet will look like a Lamb imitating Jesus but he will teach the false words of Satan, the Devil:

"11Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. 15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has [g]the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."

This is why Paul continues to ask us the be vey careful in his second epistle to the Thessalonians, chapter 2, verses 9 to 12:

"9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason Elohim will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

In the past, the king of Assyria has already tried to seduce the inhabitants of Jerusalem in the same way!

About 2700 years ago, when Hezekiah was king of Judah, Sennacherib, king of Assyria, followed the same scenario to try to seduce the inhabitants of Jerusalem. He also sent his messengers, including Rabshakeh, to discredit Hezekiah in front of his people inducing them to believe that the words of the Elohim of the Bible were untrue. But contrary to what will happen in the future, the starving Jerusalemites will not be seduced and remain firm with the words of truth contained in the Bible and therefore they will not be seduced, as we can read in II Kings 18, verses 26 to 37:

"26 Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, Shebna, and Joah said to the Rabshakeh, “Please speak to your servants in Aramaic, for we understand it; and do not speak to us in Hebrew in the hearing of the people who are on the wall.”

27 But the Rabshakeh said to them, “Has my master sent me to your master and to you to speak these words, and not to the men who sit on the wall, who will eat and drink their own waste with you?”

28 Then the Rabshakeh stood and called out with a loud voice in ]Hebrew, and spoke, saying, “Hear the word of the great king, the king of Assyria! 29 Thus says the king: ‘Do not let Hezekiah deceive you, for he shall not be able to deliver you from his hand; 30 nor let Hezekiah make you trust in the Lord, saying, “Yehoah will surely deliver us; this city shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.” ’ 31 Do not listen to Hezekiah; for thus says the king of Assyria: ‘Make peace with me by a present and come out to me; and every one of you eat from his own vine and every one from his own fig tree, and every one of you drink the waters of his own cistern; 32 until I come and take you away to a land like your own land, a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of olive groves and honey, that you may live and not die. But do not listen to Hezekiah, lest he persuade you, saying, “The Lord will deliver us.” 33 Has any of the gods of the nations at all delivered its land from the hand of the king of Assyria? 34 Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim and Hena and Ivah? Indeed, have they delivered Samaria from my hand? 35 Who among all the gods of the lands have delivered their countries from my hand, that the Lord should deliver Jerusalem from my hand?’ ”

36 But the people held their peace and answered him not a word; for the king’s commandment was, “Do not answer him.” 37 Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household, Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph, the recorder, came to Hezekiah with their clothes torn, and told him the words of the Rabshakeh."

But with Jeremiah, it will be the opposite: Yehoah announces the destruction of the city of Jerusalem and is asking the Jerusalemites to surrender unconditionally to the king of Babylon but here they will not listen to Jeremiah for their loss!

The seduction of the religious authorities at the time of Jeremiah will discredit the prophet who will be martyrized. People will make fun of him and consequently of Elohim.

We can read this in Jeremiah 19, starting with verse 14 till chapter 20, verse 6:

14 Then Jeremiah came from Tophet, where Yehoah had sent him to prophesy; and he stood in the court of the Yehoah’s house and said to all the people, 15 “Thus says Yehoah of hosts, the Elohim of Israel: ‘Behold, I will bring on this city and on all her towns all the doom that I have pronounced against it, because they have stiffened their necks that they might not hear My words.’ ”

Chapter 20

1Now Pashhur the son of Immer, the priest who was also chief governor in the house of Yehoa, heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things. 2 Then Pashhur struck Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the high gate of Benjamin, which was by the house of Yehoah. 3 And it happened on the next day that Pashhur brought Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then Jeremiah said to him, “Yehoah has not called your name Pashhur, but Magor-Missabib. 4 For thus says Yehoah: ‘Behold, I will make you a terror to yourself and to all your friends; and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and your eyes shall see it. I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive to Babylon and slay them with the sword. 5 Moreover I will deliver all the wealth of this city, all its produce, and all its precious things; all the treasures of the kings of Judah I will give into the hand of their enemies, who will plunder them, seize them, and carry them to Babylon. 6 And you, Pashhur, and all who dwell in your house, shall go into captivity. You shall go to Babylon, and there you shall die, and be buried there, you and all your friends, to whom you have prophesied lies. ”

And then in chapter 21, verses 8 to 10:

"8Now you shall say to this people, ‘Thus says Yehoah: “Behold, I set before you the way of life and the way of death. 9 He who remains in this city shall die by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence; but he who goes out and defects to the Chaldeans who besiege you, he shall live, and his life shall be as a prize to him.
10 For I have set My face against this city for adversity and not for good,” says Yehoah. “It shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.”

How to escape the danger of seduction.

You have seen above how vigilant and insightful you must be to avoid being seduced and to stay on the path that leads to life:

The Bible gives here and there good advice and tips for the believer to flee seduction.

First of all, eliminate the worries and the bait of riches as indicated in Matthew 13, in the parable of the sower:

"22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful."

In Ephesians 4, Paul gives us a second set of tips to avoid the seductions that can be met on the way of our life:

"1 I, therefore, the prisoner of Elohim, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, 2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, 3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.....

14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ"

In other words, Paul tells us to follow the example of Jesus who practiced all this after stripping himself of the deity he had in heaven beside Yehoah who has become His Father in the meantime.

Jesus never did let himself be seduced by Satan!

This attitude of Jesus helps us to understand why Satan failed to seduce him despite his 40 days of fasting in the desert. Read this in Luke 4:

1Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, 2 being tempted for forty days by the devil. And in those days He ate nothing, and afterward, when they had ended, He was hungry.

3 And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of Elohim, command this stone to become bread.”

4 But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of Elohim.’ ”

5 Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. 7 Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.”

8 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship Yehoah your Elohim, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”

9 Then he brought Him to Jerusalem, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of Elohim, throw Yourself down from here.
10 For it is written: ‘He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you,’
11 and, ‘In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’ ”

12 And Jesus answered and said to him, “It has been said, ‘You shall not tempt the Yehoah your Elohim.’ ”

13 Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time.”

The behavior of Jesus fasting for 40 days proves that the strength according to Yehoah is in the weakness of human beings. Jesus is always answering the Devil by using the teachings of his Father as a non-violent but absolute weapon. Everything is said with great humility and wisely.

Become like good soil where the seed can produce good fruits in large quantities!

In Matthew 13, Jesus encourages us to understand and act:

8 But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 9 He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”...

23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
