BE ON WATCH AND UNDERSTAND!

THE CHURCH OF THE LORD WILL FALL ASLEEP COMPLETELY AND THEN ONLY WILL OCCUR THE FINAL ACCOMPLISHMENT OF THE PARABLE OF THE TEN VIRGINS!

All the proper nouns used by Yehoah in His Bible have a very precise meaning in connection with what they refer to. Thus the name of Satan indicates the adversary, Babel means confusion.

In the same way the name of Laodicea comes from two Greek words, "Laos" which means people and "dikos" which means ruled or governed.

If you apply this to the Church of Laodicea, it would mean that this Church is characterized by the attitude of her members to rule the Church by themselves and to dislike any government coming from their Creator. The Church of Laodicea is the one described by John in the book of Revelation, chapter 3, verses 14 to 22.

But for which reasons does the Church of Laodicea replace the authority of the Lord and substitute it by anarchy that is transforming the Church in a body whose members are dislocated between themselves?

Pride!

The first reason which leads the Church of Laodicea in this bad way of life is her carnal nature which makes her believe that she is able to take care alone of her future because she is proud. The pride of Laodicea makes her believe

THAT SHE KNOWS ALWAYS EVERYHTING

ABOUT ANYTHING!

But her carnal and human nature deceives her and let us read what Paul says about this:

"9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of Elohim;" (Colossians 1: 9-10)

The proud attitude of the Church of Laodicea is the main cause of her no-growth in the knowledge and instead of that, she will start to stagnate.

Drowsiness!

A second cause of the bad direction taken by that Church is drowsiness that will have a synergistic effect with pride. A synergistic effect means that the two causes, if they act at the same time will have much more effect than each one acting separately: these two causes will have a snowball effect!

The importance and the influence of drowsiness is directly associated with the behavior of the members of the Church and how they are linked and articulated between themselves in the body of the Church. Each member if he fulfills well his role and his duty, that the Lord planned for him thanks to the talent given, will be like Paul describes him:

"18Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, 19and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from Elohim."

  (Colossians 2: 18-19)

It is a duty for each member of the body of the Church of the Father to act as a responsible person before the Father Who entrusts to him a series of talents:

11And He Himself (our Lord) gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of Elohim, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ-- 16from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. (Ephesians 4: 11-16)

To flee from our responsibilities and to believe that we have already reached the target of our life is very dangerous, especially in the end-time as all will occur precisely as Jesus prophesized it in Matthew 25 with the parable of the ten virgins, five being wise and the five others insane.

The most dramatic part of this parable is THAT ALL THE TEN VIRGINS, THE INSANE ONES AND THE WISE ONES, WILL FALL ASLEEP COMPLETELY!

The message is clear:

All the body of the Church of the Lord will fall asleep!

This is an important point to grasp and to meditate because we are playing with our life. Some scholars wanted us to believe that the five wise virgins are a symbol for the Church of Philadelphia about which the book of Revelation speaks in chapter 3, verses 7 to 13 while the insane virgins would be a symbol of the Church of Laodicea.

This interpretation is in complete contradiction with the book of Revelation. Indeed, if all the wise virgins have access to the room of the weddings, like it is written in Matthew 25: 10, none of the insane virgins will have the right to enter! (verses 11-13). However this is not what Jesus-Christ reveals about the Church of Laodicea in the book of Revelation:

17Because you say, "I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing'--and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked-- 18I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. (Revelation 3: 17-19)

This message is encouraging and very clear because it promises that part of the Church of Laodicea will get a right to enter the room of weddings. Thus there is no identity between the five insane virgins and the Church of Laodicea.

Moreover, an attentive observation of what goes on in nature allows identifying with precision the ten virgins as a whole. Indeed, nature teaches us that a sleeping body, like the ten virgins sees its temperature decreasing significantly. Meanwhile, the temperature of a sleeping body is between the colder temperature of a dead body and the hotter temperature of an active body. Corpse is often qualified as cold. Lukewarm means between cold and hot!

Having said this, in other words,

THE BODIES OF THE TEN VIRGINS ARE LUKEWARM!

They are neither hot, nor cold, but between hot and cold, lukewarm!

It means that the ten virgins described in verse 5 of chapter 25 in the book of Matthew:

"5But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept."

Are in a lukewarm status as is also all the Church of Laodicea:

"Then, because you (Church of Laodicea) are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. (Revelation 3: 16)

All the Church of Laodicea is lukewarm at the same temperature as that of the sleeping bodies of the ten virgins described in Matthew 25. But Jesus encourages this Church to awake at the time of His advent, to get warmer in order to enter the room of the weddings, like the five wise virgins.

Now let us continue further with our comparison between a sleeping body and the body of the Church of Laodicea. Each part of the body of a sleeping person is completely relaxed and free to move independently from the rest of the body. You can take the hand of a sleeping person and move it while the rest of the body remains unconscious.

The members of the sleeping Church will behave in a similar way, i.e. without any link between each others.

This attitude combined with that of the pride discussed above will lead the Church of Laodicea TO ACT NO MORE ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF THE CREATOR AS REVEALED IN THE BIBLE, BUT REMEMBER THAT "THE WORD OF THE LORD IS SHARPER THAN ANY TWOEDGED SWORD!"

On the contrary, each member of this Church will according to his own personal feelings.

But should we be astonished to see a whole Church falling completely asleep? Of course not, since the prophecy of the Father warns us that this will arrive. Satan attacked already in the past the Head of the Church, Jesus-Christ but he failed miserably. Now, in these end times, knowing that the time left for him is shorter and shorter, the Devil will attack the rest of the body of the Lord but he will do it at the most strategic places: where there are articulations and bonds between the members. It will spread the division between the members and where it will work, the body will start to paralyze and to go numb. The correct function of the body will be destroyed.

What is certain, our Father and His son warned us in advance,

THE DEVIL WILL SUCCEED IN HIS JOB
BUT FORTUNATELY HIS VICTORY WILL BE USELESS

It is confirmed in the prophecy of Daniel:

"6And one said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, "How long shall the fulfillment of these wonders be?"
7Then I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever, that it shall be for a time, times, and half a time; and when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished."
(Daniel 12: 6-7)

Then, sisters and brothers, we are warned and we should be prepared to face this situation while being ready first of all to face with the worse situation, i.e. the most difficult which can arise.

It will be the case for those who among us will be members of the Church of Laodicea!

This Church will sleep deeply at the time of the return of Jesus and if she wants enter the weddings room and meet Him, it will be necessary for her to be purified by the great tribulation about which the book of Revelation speaks.

Let us be ready with this possibility but

WHO AMONG US IS SURE THAT HE WON'T FALL?

Paul for instance became certain of his success only at the very end of his life:

"5But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

Paul's Valedictory
6 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. 7I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing."
 (II Timothée 4: 5-8)

Paul, before that, ran with the target in sight, and he had faith.

Consequently, we should also persevere in all that is good: let us be humble in the face of the Lord by fasting, do not wait for the atonement day to fast. Let us pray our Father and ask Him more of the Holy Spirit.

Let us follow His way of life, the only one which is good and which is explained in the Bible. Let us act strongly and firmly anytime we have to.

Let us follow the example shown by the Bereans who went each days check in the Book if what they were tought is true (Acts chapter 17).

We must also keep the hope, like Paul, the hope to live and reach the Kingdom of our Father, choosing the best way, the one followed by the Church of Philadelphia, a Church where each one loves her or his sisters and her or his brothers according to the meaning of her name in Greek:

10Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. 11Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.   (Revelation 3: 10-11)
