DISCOVER THE TRUE IDENTITY OF

BABYLON THE GREAT!

YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THE TERRIBLE AMAZEMENT

OF JOHN WHILE RECOGNIZING HER.

May it be that the identity of the woman symbolized by Babylon the Great, the mother of harlots, is so incredible, unexpected and surprising?

Should we look for Babylon the Great where we would never expect finding her?

You are invited throughout this article to try to discover the true identity of Babylon the Great by making use of all the tools the Bible puts between our hands as it was the case for John.

And like John, you should also be amazed, when you will discover her incredible identity announced however since nearly 2000 years!

Let us read again with care the words of John in the book of the Revelation, since the beginning of chapter 17:

"The Scarlet Woman and the Scarlet Beast
1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, "Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, 2with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication."
3So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. 5And on her forehead a name was written:


        MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.


6I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus and when I stared at her, I was greatly amazed."

There must be a very important reason at the origin of the great amazement of John! John is living at the beginning of the Roman Empire but this Empire already reached its splendor after the conquest of Egypt with the end of the reign of Cleopatra. Carthago has fallen for two centuries and Gaul and Spain are already part of the Empire. Rome also dominates over the glorious land, name given by Daniel to the Holy Land. Rome stores the wealth of the whole world and already adopted all the gods of the countries that Rome has conquered or with whom it has relationship. If somebody would have asked John to choose a candidate city to carry the title of Babylon the Great at his time, wouldn't his choice be Rome quite naturally? Which other city at that time could better be the symbol of the seat on earth for the power of the Prince of this world if not Rome! Then if the angel had made him discover that Rome is the city expected to become Babylon the Great at the end-times, why would he be so astonished?

The reason of John's amazement is quite simple, it is hard for John to believe that the city which the angel is naming is also Babylon the Great, the mother of harlots, a city drunken with the blood of the saints. This discovery is for John like a nightmare which becomes reality!

An imperious whorish woman

already in remote antiquity!

Let us seek in the Bible if there is any other comparison between a city and a mistress prostitute and let us try to see whether this track will not lead us to uncover the identity of Babylon the Great, one of the largest criminal in history according the judgment of the Lord!

I invite you to begin our investigation and to read chapter 16 of the book of the prophet Ezekiel. From the very beginning with verses 1 and 2, Yehoah gives the tone while speaking to the prophet:

"1 Again the word of Yehoah came to me, saying, 2"Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,"

After having pointed out the miserable origins of Jerusalem, Yehoah shows how He had compassion upon Jerusalem and how He placed a lot of hopes in her. He prepared her for a wedding and Yehoah and only He transformed Jerusalem in a remarkable and unique beauty renowned all over the world. But just like Lucifer became Satan, Jerusalem became proud of her beauty and she started to enter the abject world of the prostitution. Not enough to enter this world on tip-toe, she decided to plunge in the prostitution up to the neck, beyond all that is conceivable, going even to work for free at the opposite of any professional prostitute and she became thus an imperious whorish woman as one can read since verse 30 of chapter 16 in the book of Ezekiel:

"30"How degenerate is your heart!" says Yehoah Elohim, "seeing you do all these things, the work of an imperious whorish woman.


Jerusalem's Adultery
31 "You erected your shrine at the head of every road, and built your high place in every street. Yet you were not like a harlot, because you scorned payment. 32You are an adulterous wife, who takes strangers instead of her husband. 33Men make payment to all harlots, but you made your payments to all your lovers, and hired them to come to you from all around for your harlotry. 34You are the opposite of other women in your harlotry, because no one solicited you to be a harlot. In that you gave payment but no payment was given you, therefore you are the opposite."

She was choosing her lovers at all the corners of the streets; She committed and will commit whoredoms with all the great powers which dominated and will dominate on earth!

Jerusalem, this imperious whorish woman, will not be satisfied to give her body only to all to her neighbors and to all of those who pass by, as we could read in verse 15 of chapter 16 of Ezekiel. In her pride, she will seek the favors of the most powerful nations on earth, the ones on which Satan dominates! They are in particular the superpowers symbolized by the seven heads of the beast described in chapter 17 of the book of the Revelation of John.

Let us read that in the Bible and first of all in Ezekiel 16, verse 26 and 28:

"26You also committed harlotry with the Egyptians, your very fleshly neighbors, and increased your acts of harlotry to provoke Me to anger.... 28You also played the harlot with the Assyrians, because you were insatiable; indeed you played the harlot with them and still were not satisfied."

We have just read here that Jerusalem played the whore and committed fornication with the first two nations to have dominated on earth since the time of Jacob, the ancestor of the sons of Israel. These two nations, Egypt and Assyria are to some extent symbolized by the first two heads of the beast.

But let us continue our readings in the chapter 23 of the book of Ezekiel to note that the imperious whorish woman will not stop here:

"11 "Now although her sister Oholibah (alias Jerusalem according to verse 4) saw this, she became more corrupt in her lust than she, and in her harlotry more corrupt than her sister's harlotry. (alias Samaria)…
14 But she increased her harlotry; She looked at men portrayed on the wall, Images of Chaldeans portrayed in vermilion, 15 Girded with belts around their waists, Flowing turbans on their heads, All of them looking like captains, In the manner of the Babylonians of Chaldea, The land of their nativity. 16 As soon as her eyes saw them, She lusted for them and sent messengers to them in Chaldea. 17 "Then the Babylonians came to her, into the bed of love, And they defiled her with their immorality; So she was defiled by them, and alienated herself from them."

These Babylonians are in their turn symbolized by the third head of the beast of the Revelation of John.

The Bible enables us to understand that Jerusalem, as an addicted, would go on and continue her dirty job. As she was said to open her feet to every one that passed by, it should be expected that she would do the same with the following Empires: on the one hand, the Medo-Persians founded by Cyrus and on the other hand the Greeks of Alexander the Great. Read about this Ezekiel 16: 15 and 25.

These two Empires are symbolized by the fourth and fifth heads of the Beast described in the book of Revelation and they complete the quintet of the five Empires which have fallen at the time of John (Revelation 17: 9-10):

"9"Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. 10There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes, he must continue a short time.... "

But the summit of the prostitution committed by Jerusalem took certainly place at the time of the Roman occupation, at the time of Jesus-Christ! The Roman Empire is symbolized by the sixth head of the Beast, the one that still exists at John's time.

The religious authority of the city in the person of the principal sacrificators of Yehoah committed this act of horror while launching this scandalous declaration at the face of the one who should have been their Lord:

"We have no king but Caesar!"

This most odious declaration printed in John 19: 15 contributed in a decisive way to the execution of the Savior of the whole mankind. These words are indeed the extreme expression of Jerusalem's prostitution with the Roman Empire, and there is no more trace for a place for Yehoah. Yehoah is completely and absolutely rejected by the religious authorities of His people. And yet, aren't these words a disavowal of Yehoah's sentence in Isaiah 43: 15

"I am Yehoah, your Holy One,
        The Creator of Israel, your King."

What about the near future?

After a little less than two thousand years of Diaspora, what will do Jerusalem in the near future? Will she take into account the lessons of the past? Many in Jerusalem today lost faith and are disgusted about faith because of the bad attitude of the majority of the Jewish religious authorities often much more interested by power and money than by servicing the Lord. These religious organizations follow in that the way of many religions in and of the world.
The city of Jerusalem is unfortunately confirming to the says in Ecclesiastes, chapter 1, verses 9-11:

"9That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun. 10Is there anything of which it may be said, "See, this is new"? It has already been in ancient times before us. 11There is no remembrance of former things, Nor will there be any remembrance of things that are to come By those who will come after."

Here will appear very soon a new empire that will dominate the whole world as it is prophesied by the Creator in the book of the Revelation as the seventh head of the beast on which the Great Harlot is sitting.

This next to last Empire that will dominate the world will indeed be the successor of Rome which fell approximately 1500 years ago. Who will be this Empire? May it be the UNITED Europe, UNITED for the first time in its history and encouraged by the Pope to become again a Headlight for this world? I advise you to read on this subject the meditation on the Future of Europe.

Or may it be that this next to last world Empire is rather the power of the United States which is imposing on this world its "Pax Americana"?

Up to us, faithful servants of the Creator, to be awake and alert in order to understand in due time the course of the events. An irrefutable manner to recognize this next to last Empire is to observe whom Jerusalem will openly start to seduce and with whom she will commit prostitution rejecting once again her Celestial Lover. All her deeds will be made with the greatest vulgarity usually characteristic to prostitutes of the lowest class and she will do anything she can to catch the eyes from this new Empire.

As a matter of fact, we should already note for instance all the stratagems used by Jerusalem to try to become an associated member of the EEC. Another series of scandalous actions are  all the efforts made to establish diplomatic relations with the so-called " Holy See", just like these other efforts that were made to organize for this world the festivals at the eve of the second millennia whose origin is primarily pagan. Jerusalem was looking for money and for adulation by the world.

These millennium feasts were once again a slap in the face of our Creator by soiling in this case His Sabbaths and His Holy City by the would be spectacular and imposing organization of Christmas and Sylvester eves dinners while the same days were the Holy days of the Lord. Indeed in 1999, these eve dinners occurred exceptionally at the beginning of a Sabbath, the day of rest consecrated by Yehoah and whose respect is ordered to us in the Ten Commandments. All these news should make us cry, if we love our Creator, as these deeds are so abominable. Just like Moses did, we should hide our face on the ground to beseech our Father's forgiveness because, at the end, we are unfortunately part of this human race.

Also let us pray in the hope that our race will not be completely exterminated after all these abominations!

A city drunk with the blood of the Saints!

If we go back to the description of Babylon the Great made by John in the book of the Revelation, in chapter 17 and verse 6:

"I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus."

Here again, let us look if the Bible will not guide us in identifying such a city. Could it be that Jerusalem is once again the target of these charges of murder on the person of the servants of Yehoah, in other words the army from the skies? Because if that is true, that should even more direct our suspicions towards Jerusalem as being the one who hides under the mask of Babylon the Great, the mother of harlots.

No need to go far to discover the sinister truth about the criminal activities of Jerusalem. Read simply the words of our Lord in Matthew 23: 37:

"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!

These words are coming as a conclusion after the severe criticisms made by Jesus-Christ to the scribes and the Pharisees when He reproaches them their criminal behavior that they will have with respect to the Christians while starting with their own Lord and continuing with so many others and among them Stephen:

"33 Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell? 34 Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, 35 that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar."
(Matthew 23: 33-35)

To convince you further, I encourage you to read how the city of Jerusalem also treated Jeremiah who was so close to death. Read also with attention the prophecies addressed in Jerusalem by many other prophets. For instance, let us read the book of Jeremiah, at the beginning of chapter 2, verses 1 and 2:

"1 Moreover the word of Yehoah came to me, saying, 2"Go and cry in the hearing of Jerusalem, saying, "Thus says Yehoah: "I remember you, The kindness of your youth, The love of your betrothal, When you went after Me in the wilderness, In a land not sown.

And let us jump now to verse 34:

"Also on your skirts is found The blood of the lives of the poor innocents.  I have not found it by secret search, But plainly on all these things."

Let us read also Micah 3: 9-12,

"9Now hear this, You heads of the house of Jacob And rulers of the house of Israel, Who abhor justice And pervert all equity, 10Who build up Zion with bloodshed And Jerusalem with iniquity: 11Her heads judge for a bribe, Her priests teach for pay, And her prophets divine for money. Yet they lean on Yehoah, and say, "Is not Yehoah among us? No harm can come upon us." 12Therefore because of you Zion shall be plowed like a field, Jerusalem shall become heaps of ruins, And the mountain of the temple Like the bare hills of the forest." 

Jerusalem is a city who on many occasions of her history was covered without measurement by the blood of the servants sent by Yehoah. Not satisfied by that, she even had the audacity to make the blood of her Savior flow on the ground.

A cup that the mother of harlots will get drunk and the same cup to render all nations on earth drunk!

Babylon the Great, the mother harlots, uses a cup to get drunk (Revelation 17: 4). This wine cup is also filled with the fury of Yehoah (Jeremiah 25: 15). Anyone who drinks in this cup by desecrating it is going to a death at short term! Read by the way what occurred to Belshazzar, the last king de Babylon, after he committed a sacrilege while making use of the vessels coming from the Temple of Jerusalem to drink. This story can be found in Daniel 5 and here is the end of this dramatic event, in verse 30:

"That very night Belshazzar, king of the Chaldeans, was slain."

In the same way, this cup in the hand of Babylon the Great soon to come will be used to appease the wrath of Yehoah, first on Jerusalem, and later on all the other nations. The Lord applies the same rule on everybody but He starts with His beloved ones. Let us read in Jeremiah 25: 15-18,

"15 For thus says Yehoah Elohim of Israel to me: "Take this wine cup of fury from My hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send you, to drink it. 16And they will drink and stagger and go mad because of the sword that I will send among them."
17Then I took the cup from Yehoah's hand, and made all the nations drink, to whom Yehoah had sent me: 18Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, its kings and its princes, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, a hissing, and a curse, as it is this day;"

We find this cup again in chapter 51 of the book of Jeremiah. In this case, the cup is applied to the Babylon of the end-times, that is described in the book of Revelation and whose identity amazed so much John while recognizing her. This is the city we are trying also to identify!

The Babylon mentioned in Jeremiah 51 is not at all the antique one and as a kind of proof, the followers of Yehoah did not flee out of the antique Babylon as we can see with Daniel who stayed in the city during the last night while the Medo-Persians are taking the city over and killing the last king of! While for the one described in Jeremiah 50 and 51, it is clear that it fits to another time, a time when all the believers will be asked to flee quickly out of the city called Babylon the Great as we are told in Jeremiah, chapter 50, verse 8:

"Move from the midst of Babylon, Go out of the land of the Chaldeans;  And be like the rams before the flocks."

Also think of the context in which Jeremiah prophesies in chapter 50, in verses 4 and 5:

"4"In those days and in that time," says Yehoah, "The children of Israel shall come, They and the children of Judah together; With continual weeping they shall come, And seek Yehoah their Elohim. 5They shall ask the way to Zion, With their faces toward it, saying, "Come and let us join ourselves to Yehoah In a perpetual covenant That will not be forgotten.'

This come-back of ALL THE SONS OF ISRAEL did not take place yet and we should not mix this event neither with the return of the children of the captivity at the time of Ezra and Nehemiah, nor with the return of the Jews after World War II. In both cases, only the Jews came back in the Holy Land and the Jews are only the descendants of few tribes of the children of Israel. These tribes were Judah, Benjamin, Simeon and Levi.

Moreover it is interesting to note what few people know, but a prophecy announces in Isaiah 48, verse 1 that the descendants of Judah will bear the name of Israel as we see it today with the State of Israel having Jerusalem capital city:

"Hear this, O house of Jacob, Who are called by the name of Israel, And have come forth from the wellsprings of Judah; Who swear by the name of Yehoah, And make mention of the Elohim of Israel, But not in truth or in righteousness; 2For they call themselves after the holy city (Zionism), And lean on the Elohim of Israel; Yehoah of hosts is His name."

And a little further, verse 20, comes also the same advice from the Lord to leave Babylon "the Great":

"Go forth from Babylon! Flee from the Chaldeans! With a voice of singing, Declare, proclaim this, Utter it to the end of the earth; Say,
"Yehoah has redeemed His servant Jacob!"
This injunction of Yehoah is the same one as the one given in Revelation 18, verse 4:

"And I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues."

Jesus said the same about Judea and Jerusalem in Matthew 24, verses 15 and 16:
"The Great Tribulation
15 "Therefore when you see the "abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place" (whoever reads, let him understand), 16"then let those who are in Judea (Jerusalem included) flee to the mountains."

The reason why believers are invited to flee very quickly out of Jerusalem and Judea is related to the cruel reign of the Beast that is about to start after the illusion given by the Great Whore. We will speak about this soon.

But let us go back to the cup also associated with  Jerusalem in the prophecy of the Old Testament, in the book of Zechariah, chapter 12, verses 2 and 3:

"2"Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. 3And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it."

Here is indeed the spectacular advent of the Beast on which Babylon the Great was sitting.

And the Beast shall make the Great Whore desolate and naked and shall eat her flesh and burn her with fire!

Do not confuse the Beast

with Babylon the Great!

Carefully, open very well your eyes when you read the Revelation of John!

Indeed this book reveals something quite different from what is often claimed by the majority of the "Christian" religious teachers of this world who generate a

Confusion not to be made between the Beast and Babylon the Great!

Indeed, because of this confusion,

the fall to come of Babylon the Great will be breath-taking for many people who will believe that they already arrived at the end...

BUT THIS WILL NOT BE YET THE END AT ALL!

The book of the Revelation of John is a book that believers should read and try to understand to find happiness. This is the first revelation which John gives us in the beginning of the book:

"Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near." (Revelation 1: 3)

So don't let people influence you, or even indoctrinate you by the teachings of those who want to have a spiritual hand put on you. Understand that the majority of the ecclesiastical authorities of this world have only one goal: dominate spiritually over the people.

They all want to make us believe the opposite of what the Lord is saying and they teach us that the book of Revelation can only be understood by scholars, that it is more symbolic than real and that it would not be useful for us to influence our way of life as believers. However it is well the opposite that is written in the book itself and that is repeated at the very end of it:

6 Then he said to me, "These words are faithful and true." And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.
7"Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book." (Revelation 22: 6-7)

Then, I invite you to dip yourselves more and more in this wonderful book, a precious gift of our Creator and His Son.

Now let us continue our job to identify the main macabre actors described in the Revelation of John. We must keep in mind that we will have to be wary of them especially as we approach the end, if, at least, we hold with the eternal life!

In the first part we found many similarities between Babylon the Great and Jerusalem. These similarities were primarily built by making use of the writings made by the prophets of the Lord.

But now, we arrived at the most dramatic event in mankind's history "… the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth." (Revelation 3: 10) 

Jesus warns us in advance about the supreme gravity of this moment:

"For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be." (Matthew 24: 21).

This is the precise moment when occurs the spectacular fall of Bay lone the Great under the blows from the Beast and his ten kings:

"16And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot (Babylon the Great), make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire. 17For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled. (Revelation 17: 16-17).

The same prophecy was made on Jerusalem by Ezekiel as you saw at the beginning of this article. Read again, chapter 16 of his book, starting with verse 35 and remember that this prophecy is addressed to Jerusalem according to verse 2:

"35 "Now then, O harlot, hear the word of Yehoah! 36Thus says Yehoah Elohim: "Because your filthiness was poured out and your nakedness uncovered in your harlotry with your lovers, and with all your abominable idols, and because of the blood of your children which you gave to them, 37surely, therefore, I will gather all your lovers with whom you took pleasure, all those you loved, and all those you hated; I will gather them from all around against you and will uncover your nakedness to them, that they may see all your nakedness. 38And I will judge you as women who break wedlock or shed blood are judged; I will bring blood upon you in fury and jealousy. 39I will also give you into their hand, and they shall throw down your shrines and break down your high places. They shall also strip you of your clothes, take your beautiful jewelry, and leave you naked and bare.
40"They shall also bring up an assembly against you, and they shall stone you with stones and thrust you through with their swords. 41They shall burn your houses with fire, and execute judgments on you in the sight of many women; and I will make you cease playing the harlot, and you shall no longer hire lovers. "

Now it is high time for us to look into the reign of the Beast on whom the whore was sitting! The description made in Revelation chapter 17 is in fact a repeat of chapter 13:

The Beast rises up out of the sea...

In Revelation chapter 13, John makes us a precise description of the Beast who rises out of the bottomless pit to go into perdition.

"1 Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. 2Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon (Satan according to Revelation 12:9) gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. 3And I saw one of his heads as if it had been mortally wounded, and his deadly wound was healed. And the entire world marveled and followed the beast. 4So they (all the people on earth; it will be a big move) worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?"
5And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies (see also Daniel 7: 8, 11 and 25 and Daniel 8: 9-12 and 25), and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months (understand the true meaning of a month for our Lord as described in the article the Calendar of the Lord – today only in French). 6Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. 7It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. 8All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. (Revelation 13: 1-10)

The Beast who rises out of the sea will get the strong support of a second Beast coming up out of the earth and who will invest all his power to organize the worship of the first one. He will be disguised in the shape of a lamb (note: he will try to usurp the place of Jesus-Christ, the true lamb) but actually, he will be a creature of Satan, the dragon.

Let us read his description and his deeds in Revelation 13, since verse 11:

"11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived. 15He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666."
 We have already revealed earlier the identity of the seven heads as being the various great empires which ruled or will rule over the world in the past and in the near future: the first five were, as said already, Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia and the Greece of Alexander the Great. This part constitutes the first five which collapsed already at the time when John was writing the Revelation. Then came the Roman Empire which is the sixth head still existing at the time of John.

Then will come the seventh head that believers must identify and today we can ask ourselves if it will be Europe whose influence is everywhere in the world. Europe was strongly encouraged by the Pope to become again the Headlight of humanity, headlight which it used to be as Europe would take again the torch fallen since the fall of Rome. But we should not forget that today, a great power  is in the hand of the United States of America who became the dominant military power in the world since the collapse of the Soviet Union.

In any case, John certifies in chapter 17 that when this seventh head will revive the Beast and reign, a very short time will be left. Also observe that the whore will make her dirtiness with each one of all these heads including the seventh.

Now, will appear the successor of the seventh head, the Beast himself with its ten horns who hate the whore and will cruelly destroy her as she deserved it on behalf of the Father. John gives us also two important clues to recognize the Empire of the Beast on the one hand and his emperor, a man on the other hand. Let us see the first clue.

The Beast is himself the eighth Empire

But he was also one of the seven!
(Revelation 17: 11)

Let us explore in the writings of the Old Testament if there is no references to an Empire appointed by Yehoah with the mission of punishing the impious people of the Lord. Let us read first Isaiah 10: 5-18

"5 "Woe to Assyria, the rod of My anger
        And the staff in whose hand is My indignation.
        6I will send him against an ungodly nation,
        And against the people of My wrath
        I will give him charge,
        To seize the spoil, to take the prey,
        And to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
        7Yet he does not mean so,
        Nor does his heart think so;
        But it is in his heart to destroy,
        And cut off not a few nations. (note: instead of limiting itself to the mission entrusted by the Lord, Assyria in his pride will plunder and destroy the whole earth and that will be the reason of his punishment)...
        8For he says,
        "Are not my princes altogether kings?
        9Is not Calno like Carchemish?
        Is not Hamath like Arpad?
        Is not Samaria like Damascus?
        10As my hand has found the kingdoms of the idols,
        Whose carved images excelled those of Jerusalem and Samaria,
        11As I have done to Samaria and her idols,
        Shall I not do also to Jerusalem and her idols?"'


12Therefore it shall come to pass, when Yehoah has performed all His work on Mount Zion and on Jerusalem (The Harlot), that He will say, "I will punish the fruit of the arrogant heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his haughty looks."
13For he says:


        "By the strength of my hand I have done it,
        And by my wisdom, for I am prudent;
        Also I have removed the boundaries of the people,
        And have robbed their treasuries;
        So I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man.
        14My hand has found like a nest the riches of the people,
        And as one gathers eggs that are left,
        I have gathered all the earth;
        And there was no one who moved his wing,
        Nor opened his mouth with even a peep."


        15Shall the ax boast itself against him who chops with it?
        Or shall the saw exalt itself against him who saws with it?
        As if a rod could wield itself against those who lift it up,
        Or as if a staff could lift up, as if it were not wood!
        16Therefore Yehoah, Yehoah of hosts,
        Will send leanness among his fat ones;
        And under his glory
        He will kindle a burning
        Like the burning of a fire.
        17So the Light of Israel will be for a fire,
        And his Holy One for a flame;
        It will burn and devour
        His thorns and his briers in one day. "       

Let us continue to read in Isaiah 14: 24-27:

"Assyria Destroyed
24 Yehoah of hosts has sworn, saying,
        "Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass,
        And as I have purposed, so it shall stand:
        25That I will break the Assyrian in My land,
        And on My mountains (note: The Beast incarnated by Satan will come and established his seat in Jerusalem as prophesied by Daniel with the abomination of desolation) tread him underfoot.
        Then his yoke shall be removed from them,
        And his burden removed from their shoulders.
        26This is the purpose that is purposed against the whole earth,
        And this is the hand that is stretched out over all the nations.
        27For Yehoah of hosts has purposed,
        And who will annul it?
        His hand is stretched out,
        And who will turn it back?"

And we will finish with Isaiah 30: 27-33:

"Judgment on Assyria
27 Behold, the name of Yehoah comes from afar,
        Burning with His anger,
        And His burden is heavy;
        His lips are full of indignation,
        And His tongue like a devouring fire.
        28His breath is like an overflowing stream,
        Which reaches up to the neck,
        To sift the nations with the sieve of futility;
        And there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people,
        Causing them to err.


        29You shall have a song
        As in the night when a holy festival is kept,
        And gladness of heart as when one goes with a flute,
        To come into the mountain of Yehoah,
        To the Mighty One of Israel.
        30 Yehoah will cause His glorious voice to be heard,
        And show the descent of His arm,
        With the indignation of His anger
        And the flame of a devouring fire,
        With scattering, tempest, and hailstones.
        31For through the voice of Yehoah
        Assyria will be beaten down,
        As He strikes with the rod.
        32And in every place where the staff of punishment passes,
        Which Yehoah lays on him,
        It will be with tambourines and harps;
        And in battles of brandishing He will fight with it.
        33For Tophet was established of old,
        Yes, for the king it is prepared.
        He has made it deep and large;
        Its pyre is fire with much wood;
        The breath of Yehoah, like a stream of brimstone,
        Kindles it."

All these prophecies of Isaiah refer to the arrival of the Messiah and the re-establishment of His people in His Land. It reveals very clearly that Assyria will be chosen by Yehoah to carry out the punishment of the whore and her followers. But the Beast and the ten horns incarnated by Satan and his devils will initially come and establish their reign on the Holy Mountain in Jerusalem (Daniel 11:45) and this event will fulfill the prophecy saying that Jerusalem will become the habitation of devils. Then, the Beast will not find this enough and he will decide to go beyond the mission given by Yehoah in his pride, he will undertake the destruction of the whole world! But the Beast will be stopped in time thanks to the prayers of the saints who will have escaped and who will play a role similar to the role played by Noah's Ark.

Now we will consider the second clue:

His number is 666!

Here the second clue given by our Father to identify the man who will rule the world during 42 months just before the return of Jesus-Christ.

That means that if you are convinced that we are near the end, there is today among the Assyrian people who are still living today among us but under another name much more famous, there is thus a man whose name makes 666. It means that if we write his name in Greek, as in the time of John when he wrote the book of Revelation (this is the reason why we need wisdom and understanding), and if we make the sum of each letter, we will find that the sum of the letters makes 666!

And exactly as the Messiah promised:

The one who seeks will find!

 

But is this really the end of the Great Harlot if we identify her with Jerusalem? The Bible tells us no!

 

Could it be that Elohim will leave forever this Jerusalem of today, the one He chose to be His wife in the beginning?

Now is the time to recall what Yehoah said in Isaiah 59: 1:

“Behold, Yehoah’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear.”

 

And indeed, the existence of Jerusalem is far from ending there!

After having been repudiated and severely chastised, Jerusalem will sincerely repent and be forgiven by her husband Yehoah, who is still in love with her.

Yehoah will even take her back as His wife and she will give birth to countless children to Elohim!

This may surprise you, but according to Ezekiel 33, our Father does not want the death of  the wicked but rather that he will change his behavior and that he will stay alive! If this is indeed the case, all of Jerusalem's sins will be forgotten.

 

Moreover for the happiness of all believers, Isaiah 54 predicts us the happy future of the biblical Jerusalem, this Canaanite, abandoned by her parents but chosen by Yehoah to become His wife.

By the way,  according to verse 1, it is written that this Jerusalem does not give birth any more, which implies that she has already given birth to children expected to become our Father's children. These are all the Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, David without forgetting the numerous prophets including Daniel. They are all dead, sleeping  and waiting for the coming of our Messiah Yeshua who is the only exception, because He was already born in the Kingdom of his Father.

But let's read Isaiah 54 which is also a pledge of our forgiveness if we too sincerely repent of our mistakes:

 

“1 “Sing, O barren, You who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, You who have not labored with child!
For more are the children of the desolate Than the children of the married woman,” says Yehoah.
2 “Enlarge the place of your tent, And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, And strengthen your stakes.
3 For you shall expand to the right and to the left, And your descendants will inherit the nations, And make the desolate cities inhabited.

4 “Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; For you will forget the shame of your youth,
And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore.
5 For your Maker is your husband, Yehoah of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel;He is called the Elohim of the whole earth.
6 For Yehoah has called you Like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, Like a youthful wife when you were refused,” Says your Elohim.
7 “For a mere moment I have forsaken you, But with great mercies I will gather you.
8 With a little wrath I hid My face from you for a moment; But with everlasting kindness I will have mercy on you,” Says Yehoah, your Redeemer.

9 “For this is like the waters of Noah to Me; For as I have sworn That the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth, So have I sworn That I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.
10 For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” Says Yehoah, who has mercy on you.

11 “O you afflicted one, Tossed with tempest, and not comforted, Behold, I will lay your stones with colorful gems, And lay your foundations with sapphires.
12 I will make your pinnacles of rubies, Your gates of crystal, And all your walls of precious stones.
13 All your children shall be taught by Yehoah, And great shall be the peace of your children.
14 In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you.
15 Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake.

16 “Behold, I have created the blacksmith Who blows the coals in the fire, Who brings forth an [a]instrument for his work; And I have created the [b]spoiler to destroy.
17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Yehoah, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says Yehoah.”

 

But don’t mix between the Jerusalem of which we have just spoken and The New Jerusalem mentioned in the book of Revelation, a celestial creation which is not at all of this world!

When we read Revelation 21 describing the New Jerusalem, we can see that it was created by Yehoah to become the bride of the Lamb! She is created in an Eve-like manner so that the Firstborn Son of Yehoah, Yeshua, will not stay alone but that He will get somebody to help him and similar to him. This will be the appearance of this prestigious bride who will also give birth to many children to populate the entire universe!

Conclusion.

We have made the acquaintance of two Jerusalem, the first is of this creation and of Canaanite origin.

She was chosen by our Father to become his bride. His firstborn is Yeshua who opened the way to reach the kingdom of his Father Yehoah and many other children will follow his way starting ehrn the 7th and last trumpet will be blown when our Savior will come to interrupt the reign of Satan and his demons and will enforce the commandments, laws and ordinances of Elohim on this earth. Others will join him later at the time of the 2nd resurrection which will precede the revelation of the New Jerusalem.

This New Jerusalem is a heavenly creation destined to become the bride of the Messiah.
