What does it mean “to Know”!

2001: A Space Odyssey, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Antichrist, Exorcist, UFOs, Secret or Mysterious Societies such as Freemasons, Rosicrucians, Opus Dei, Templars or Cabalists, some literary works such as The Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons, the prophecies of Nostradamus and the search for the Grail or Temple treasures are topics that most of you have heard about.

All these topics had for a time an huge success, often at the planetary level because they spread in the world like wildfire and had on the people an undeniable influence not to say a considerable one.

But why these successes repeated each time? Why do so many men and women join so many in these movements and why do they often devote themselves to them?

The answer to these questions is: because mankind has a frightening fear of the unknown. Science, despite its spectacular progress since the nineteenth century, has not fulfilled the promises that were expected. People are discovering the existence of a gigantic abyss of the unknown. The more scientific knowledge grows, the more man feels himself lost in the immensity of the universe and the human spirit is wounded in his pride, because he believed that there was no limit to his domination over the world and over the universe.

Then the disappointed humanity changed its mind and turned to a forest of lies, fiction, paganism hoping to take its dreams for realities. But it must be observed that all these mysterious theories and words are in fact an awkward mask, a palliative to hide the reality of the unknown.

People take spiritual drugs to forget their tragic situation which seems to them without any issue.

What does the word of Yehoah (the Lord into most Bibles) say?

To answer this question, let us find how similar events are described in the Bible.

First of all in Hosea 4: 6

" My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your Elohim, I also will forget your children."

Israel rejected the knowledge of his Creator, but whereto did the Children of Israel go and worship? The answer is given to us in II Timothy 4: 3-4:

" 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables."

Since then, the situation of man has worsened and will get even worse as we are told in II Timothy 3:13:

" But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived."

The complete lack of knowledge given freely by Elohim.

The cause of this dark future for humanity is simply that people completely ignored the knowledge provided by Yehoah to succeed in life.

The Bible is useful to convince us about this lack of knowledge by showing us in histroy that  people when they are ignoring Yehoah have the same kind of behavior we can see today. Let us first take Hosea 4: 1-3, where we find the most blatant elements described about the people of Israel and what they touch and defile at the same time:

" 1 Hear the word of Yehoah, you children of Israel, for Yehoah brings a charge against the inhabitants of the land: “There is no truth or mercy or knowledge of Elohim in the land. 2 By swearing and lying, killing and stealing and committing adultery, they break all restraint, with bloodshed upon bloodshed. 3 Therefore the land will mourn; and everyone who dwells there will waste away with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air; even the fish of the sea will be taken away.”

Let's continue our reading with verses 7 through 11:

" 7The more they increased, the more they sinned against Me; I will change their glory into shame. 8 They eat up the sin of My people; they set their heart on their iniquity. 9 And it shall be: like people, like priest. So I will punish them for their ways, and reward them for their deeds. 10 For they shall eat, but not have enough;
they shall commit harlotry, but not increase; because they have ceased obeying Yehoah. 11 “Harlotry, wine, and new wine enslave the heart."

This lack of knowledge we are facing is the first and foremost source of violence, murder, adultery, prostitution and unmet cravings.

What do we see in our western world: our cities, whatever their size, are today the kingdom of violence and danger after the working hours. In some cities, the police even recommends people to leave the center of cities to avoid any risk of being violently aggressed or even raped! How many bags were ripped off, women raped or abducted, old people stunned, how many street fights with burning cars and shop windows broken? And these criminal violence often not repressed are not only the fact of thugs or jobless ! Here is a story that did not make the headlines at the time but will surprise you and show you that violence is part of the mores at all levels of the society. Here is the testimony of a crew member of a TGV, high speed train  linking Paris and Brussels on December 31 to 18 hours (eve of the New Year). We are in the seventies. These type of high speed train are usually used by business people, politicians or high rank people in various administrations. The locomotive of the train for an unspecified reason broke down and had to stop suddenly near the border between France and Belgium. Unfortunately, at the same time, a violent snowstorm erupted at the end of this Saturday and the repairing equipment that had to come from Brussels was severely delayed. Most of the passengers being in a hurry to get home on New Year's Eve started to get angry and two hours later, several passengers entered into a violent anger and destroyed an entire compartments. They started also to destroy the local train station of Erquelines. Some other passengers even started to steal cars to reach Brussels and be able to participate to the new-year eve!
Another phenomenon is now part of the daily life,  prostitution and adultery are now commonplace and are at the origin of the low if not negative birth rate in the Western world.

To turn their back on the teachings of the Bible or the moral values of the previous generations is the path chosen by the Western world.

**The attitude of the Western nations is indeed encouraged by the religious authorities who close their eyes and by so many influential gurus and philosophers who justify the banishment of all moral laws. It looks like doing evil is an excusable or even acceptable part of the modus vivendi of a modern society. They somehow push people "to eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil" because men are thinking to some extent that they are like gods. This is what Isaiah wrote in 30: 9-11:

" 9 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children who will not hear the law of Yehoah; 10 who say to the seers, “Do not see,” and to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us right things; speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits. 11 Get out of the way, turn aside from the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.”

And that's what the prophets of the world's religions do, they prophesy flattering things and chimeras to be worshiped and paid by their audience! The world lives on the basic principle that "everyone is beautiful, everyone is nice". The world has become an idemist, which means that people always agree with the last person having spoken, no matter what was said. But there is one thing that all men agree on is that we must reject the Creator's law because it is part of another world, thus unconsciously confirming the word of Christ who said that his kingdom was not of this world.

On the other hand, many religions and philosophies created around the world are like a fog of uncertainty in front of mankind. And the more this fog grows, the more men seek answers to their questions and this by turning to new sects even more extravagant than the previous ones but all with one thing in common, deviate and if possible ban the word of our Father.

People are passing near the Church of the Lord without noticing it!

This stubborn attitude of men makes that they will inevitably miss the Church of the Lord without noticing it, as John predicts in his first letter, chapter 3, verse 1:

" Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of Elohim! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. "

But as this Church of the Lord is His only silent testimony on earth, the world will make all its efforts to put an end to the existence of this embarrassing witness. To achieve its ends, the world will act with all its cowardice taking advantage of the apparent weakness of the Church, who on the opposite of the usual ways in this world, will not take revenge and will not fight back. The Church like Jesus will act exactly in the opposite way! This is a little what Paul suggests in II Timothy 3:12:

" Yes, and all who desire to live according to Elohim in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution."

Losing the meaning of true values.

To ignore the Creator is also to lose the meaning of all true values. Men acting in this way have an addicting approach while going to places that should be avoided. It is a repeat of what mankind didalready in the past by for instance sacrificing their children to their gods by burning them in a fire.

And today, in a similar way, are people not sacrificing their children to the god Mammon, the god of money? Do not parents abandon their children to the world most of the time because they want to increase their wealth? From the very young age, a baby is most of the time rejected in the hands of guardians who in no way can replace a mother. There are also more and more single mothers living in cities without the support of a husband, who are unable to support their children! I think we can compare this attitude with a sacrifice of children to the god Mammon or that of selfishness? Where is the education of the essential rules of life that every parent should inculcate in his children?

The duty of parents is well forgotten and one can get an idea of what it should be by reading as an example Deuteronomy 6: 6-7:

" 6 And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. "

Imagine what might have happened if our Creator had acted as we do with our children by letting things go so far that His commandments would have disappeared completely from history. These commandments are, let us remember, a source of wealth for all men because they give what is needed to be happy.

And yet they almost disappeared from history because of the evil attitude of a king in Judah as it can be read in II Kings 21: 1-9:

" 1 Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king, and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Hephzibah. 2 And he did evil in the sight of Yehoah, according to the abominations of the nations whom Yehoah had cast out before the children of Israel. 3 For he rebuilt the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; he raised up altars for Baal, and made a wooden image, as Ahab king of Israel had done; and he worshiped all the host of heaven and served them. 4 He also built altars in the house of Yehoah, of which Yehoah had said, “In Jerusalem I will put My name.” 5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of Yehoah. 6 Also he made his son pass through the fire, practiced soothsaying, used witchcraft, and consulted spiritists and mediums. He did much evil in the sight of Yehoah, to provoke Him to anger. 7 He even set a carved image of Asherah that he had made, in the house of which Yehoah had said to David and to Solomon his son, “In this house and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put My name forever;
8 and I will not make the feet of Israel wander anymore from the land which I gave their fathers—only if they are careful to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that My servant Moses commanded them.”
9 But they paid no attention, and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than the nations whom Yehoah had destroyed before the children of Israel."

And as we see more and more today, this rejection of the knowledge of good by Manasseh is leading to violence (II Kings 21:16):

" Moreover Manasseh shed very much innocent blood, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another, besides his sin by which he made Judah sin, in doing evil in the sight of Yehoah."

As we can see today for many children, Amon, the son of Manasseh, will therefore not receive any valuable education, and if Manasseh still had a little respect for his Creator, Amon will reject him completely (II Kings 21 : 20-22):

" 20 And he did evil in the sight of Yehoah, as his father Manasseh had done. 21 So he walked in all the ways that his father had walked; and he served the idols that his father had served, and worshiped them. 22 He forsook Yehoah Elohim of his fathers, and did not walk in the way of Yehoah."

The laws of the Bible have, so to speak, been lost, and one might even have thought they would have been destroyed as one destroys a useless object!

But fortunately for the believers, Elohim did not allow it and in His great patience with men, He organized their rediscovery at a convenient time during Josiah's reign (II Kings 22: 8- 13):

" 8 Then Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the scribe, “I have found the Book of the Law in the house of Yehoah.” And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it. 9 So Shaphan the scribe went to the king, bringing the king word, saying, “Your servants have gathered the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hand of those who do the work, who oversee the house of Yehoah.” 10 Then Shaphan the scribe showed the king, saying, “Hilkiah the priest has given me a book.” And Shaphan read it before the king.
11 Now it happened, when the king heard the words of the Book of the Law, that he tore his clothes. 12 Then the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam the son of Shaphan, Achbor the son of Michaiah, Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah a servant of the king, saying, 13 “Go, inquire of Yehoah for me, for the people and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that has been found; for great is the wrath of Yehoah that is aroused against us, because our fathers have not obeyed the words of this book, to do according to all that is written concerning us.”

Note that Josiah is not minimizing the event and he is insisting on the serious problem his kingdom was facing because people did not put into practice ALL THAT IS PRESCRIBED IN THE BOOK!

Yehoah will work with Josiah, who was only eight years old at the beginning of his reign, just as any father should do with his children by telling them what is best for their future life.

Do not forget to keep your eyes tied to nature and the universe.

Another phenomenon removes man from knowledge and true happiness, it is the little importance he attributes to nature and the universe around us, these creations of our Father! Who is the man who still takes time to meditate on nature? Who goes out at night to admire the stars, stars used to measure time. Most of the time, man is locked away from the majestic yet admirable works of the Creator, the ones we are told about in Genesis 1: 14-18:

14 Then Elohim said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; 15 and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. 16 Then Elohim made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. 17 Elohim set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And Elohim saw that it was good. "

King David, a man according to the heart of Yehoah, developed in him the knowledge of his Creator by an admiring observation of His works (Psalm 8: 4-5):

" 4 What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? 5 For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor.”

This admiration drove David to give glory to Elohim!

Elohim also used the stars as symbols when he promised Abram the following (Genesis 15: 1-6):

" 1 After these things the word of Yehoah came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”
2 But Abram said, “Yehoah Elohim, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” 3 Then Abram said, “Look, You have given me no offspring; indeed one born in my house is my heir!”
4 And behold, the word of Yehoah came to him, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.” 5 Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.”
6 And he believed in Yehoah, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.”

Disappearance of entrepreneurship.

Humanity is becoming more and more anxious and fearful of the unknown, because of the confusion created by the ever-growing number of gurus, political leaders, philosophers or religious leaders. This anxiety and fear blocks in many countries any individual entrepreneurial spirit, an unemployed person will remain unemployed, the rulers no longer take their responsibility, the authority bends before those whom it should manage, the most powerful nations are paralyzed in the face of terrorists and nations with no value! These mighty nations are in the same situation against Elohim as the mighty people of Midian and his allies Amalek and the sons of the East when they came to invade Israel in Gideon's time (Judges 6: 3-5 and 7: 7 and 9)

" 3 So it was, whenever Israel had sown, Midianites would come up; also Amalekites and the people of the East would come up against them. 4 Then they would encamp against them and destroy the produce of the earth as far as Gaza, and leave no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep nor ox nor donkey. 5 For they would come up with their livestock and their tents, coming in as numerous as locusts; both they and their camels were without number; and they would enter the land to destroy it.... 7 Then Yehoah said to Gideon, “By the three hundred men who lapped I will save you, and deliver the Midianites into your hand. Let all the other people go, every man to his place.”... 9 It happened on the same night that Yehoah said to him, “Arise, go down against the camp, for I have delivered it into your hand.”

Only 300 men will face a multitude and read with what weapons these 300 men will destroy these so powerful armies (Judges 7: 16 and 20-22):

" 16 Then he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet into every man’s hand, with empty pitchers, and torches inside the pitchers.... 20 Then the three companies blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers—they held the torches in their left hands and the trumpets in their right hands for blowing—and they cried, “The sword of Yehoah and of Gideon!” 21 And every man stood in his place all around the camp; and the whole army ran and cried out and fled. 22 When the three hundred blew the trumpets, Yehoah set every man’s sword against his companion throughout the whole camp; and the army fled to Beth Acacia, toward Zererah, as far as the border of Abel Meholah, by Tabbath.

The cure for all this: Know our Creator!

We have just described the atmosphere in which most people live today, an atmosphere of fear and anxiety in front of the unknown. The Author of your days, your Father Yehoah invites you to come out of the slump in which this world is living by offering you the remedy that will cure you of this disease. This remedy is a better knowledge of His Personality through the reading of His Word
(Proverbs 2: 1-2 and 5):

1 My son, if you receive my words, and treasure my commands within you,
2 So that you incline your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding; …
5 Then you will understand the fear of Yehoah, and find the knowledge of Elohim”.

We must first receive the words of Yehoah. To receive His words, we must obviously accept them in their totality as they are without twisting the meaning or modifying their content. Any man who begins to do so becomes a source of perfume around him! This perfume may not be pleasant for all but it can give life to some (II Corinthians 2: 14-17):

14 Now thanks be to Elohim who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. 15 For we are to Elohim the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. 16 To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things?
17 For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of Elohim; but as of sincerity, but as from Elohim, we speak in the sight of Elohim in Christ.”

Then, after receiving the words of our Father, we must try step by step to keep the precepts that are given. We must all understand that to love our Father means to keep His commandments (I John 5: 3). We understand that knowing and loving Elohim are one and the same.

Elohim loves to be known and He asks us to love him, this is his greatest commandment (Hosea 6: 6):

" For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, and the knowledge of Elohim more than burnt offerings.”

To know Yehoah, one must be attentive to wisdom and attached to intelligence. The believer knows that wisdom is given by our Father to those who are asking for  it. This wisdom enlightens us and makes us understand that, although carnal, we have to struggle in the spiritual domain ignored by humanity which is blind and this blindness is the cause of its fear of the unknown. But with the wisdom of Yehoah, no barrier can exist anymore between us and the knowledge of Yehoah
(II Corinthians 10: 3-5):

" 3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in Elohim for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of Elohim, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Keep the knowledge.

It is not enough to know Yéhoah to succeed in life but it is also necessary to keep this knowledge and let it grow! This means that we must live every moment of our lives with this knowledge in mind and using it. To do so is to consolidate the foundations on which we build our works (II Timothy 3: 14-17):

14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of Elohim, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of Elohim may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

To know Yehoah and to imitate him with regard to those around us, the true source of happiness!

When we know Yehoah and when we understand his way of acting towards us, we discover a life free from all worries. Indeed, we discover an existence during which we no longer have to worry about what could harm us, any apparent injustice to us through the perfect use that Yehoah makes of his power (Jeremiah 9:24):

" But let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am Yehoah, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says Yehoah.”

And if in our turn we imitate the behavior of Yehoah in our relations with our surroundings, we will increase our well-being. For this, as we have read above, we need only act with kindness and justice and be upright.

Then and only then will Yehoah makes sure that we are happy, as was the case with Josiah, whom we have spoken of before, here are the speech pronounced by Yehoah to the son of Josiah in Jeremiah 22: 15-16:

15 Shall you reign because you enclose yourself in cedar? Did not your father eat and drink, and do justice and righteousness? Then it was well with him.
16 He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well. Was not this knowing Me?” says Elohim.”

Josiah, as mentioned before, became king at age 8 and got to know Elohim from the beginning of his reign. He first had his country cleaned of all idolatry and that with the utmost care (II Kings 23: 4-20):

" 4 And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, the priests of the second order, and the doorkeepers, to bring out of the temple of Yehoah all the articles that were made for Baal, for Asherah, and for all the host of heaven; and he burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried their ashes to Bethel.
5 Then he removed the idolatrous priests whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense on the high places in the cities of Judah and in the places all around Jerusalem, and those who burned incense to Baal, to the sun, to the moon, to the constellations, and to all the host of heaven. 6 And he brought out the wooden image from the house of Yehoah, to the Brook Kidron outside Jerusalem, burned it at the Brook Kidron and ground it to ashes, and threw its ashes on the graves of the common people. 7 Then he tore down the ritual booths of the perverted persons that were in the house of Yehoah, where the women wove hangings for the wooden image. 8 And he brought all the priests from the cities of Judah, and defiled the high places where the priests had burned incense, from Geba to Beersheba; also he broke down the high places at the gates which were at the entrance of the Gate of Joshua the governor of the city, which were to the left of the city gate. 9 Nevertheless the priests of the high places did not come up to the altar of Yehoah in Jerusalem, but they ate unleavened bread among their brethren. 10 And he defiled Topheth, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, that no man might make his son or his daughter pass through the fire to Molech. 11 Then he removed the horses that the kings of Judah had dedicated to the sun, at the entrance to the house of Yehoah, by the chamber of Nathan-Melech, the officer who was in the court; and he burned the chariots of the sun with fire. 12 The altars that were on the roof, the upper chamber of Ahaz, which the kings of Judah had made, and the altars which Manasseh had made in the two courts of the house of Yehoah, the king broke down and pulverized there, and threw their dust into the Brook Kidron. 13 Then the king defiled the high places that were east of Jerusalem, which were on the south of the Mount of Corruption, which Solomon king of Israel had built for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Sidonians, for Chemosh the abomination of the Moabites, and for Milcom the abomination of the people of Ammon. 14 And he broke in pieces the sacred pillars and cut down the wooden images, and filled their places with the bones of men. 15 Moreover the altar that was at Bethel, and the high place which Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin, had made, both that altar and the high place he broke down; and he burned the high place and crushed it to powder, and burned the wooden image. 16 As Josiah turned, he saw the tombs that were there on the mountain. And he sent and took the bones out of the tombs and burned them on the altar, and defiled it according to the word of Yehoah which the man of Elohim proclaimed, who proclaimed these words. 17 Then he said, “What gravestone is this that I see?” So the men of the city told him, “It is the tomb of the man of Elohim who came from Judah and proclaimed these things which you have done against the altar of Bethel.” 18 And he said, “Let him alone; let no one move his bones.” So they let his bones alone, with the bones of the prophet who came from Samaria. 19 Now Josiah also took away all the shrines of the high places that were in the cities of Samaria, which the kings of Israel had made to provoke Yehoah to anger; and he did to them according to all the deeds he had done in Bethel. 20 He executed all the priests of the high places who were there, on the altars, and burned men’s bones on them; and he returned to Jerusalem."

This should be a guide to what we should be doing physically at home, in this "kingdom" that is our home. Always remember that our Savior insists that we must begin with the physical to reach the spiritual. When we begin the physical cleansing of our property, we will begin to understand better how we go about doing the same kind of spiritual cleansing that involves rooting out our spiritual leaven. We are called, if we succeed, to live the same moments of joy experienced by the people of Judah during the reign of Josiah at the time of the Passover feast:

" 21 Then the king commanded all the people, saying, “Keep the Passover to Yehoah your Elohim, as it is written in this Book of the Covenant.” 22 Such a Passover surely had never been held since the days of the judges who judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel and the kings of Judah. 23 But in the eighteenth year of King Josiah this Passover was held before Yehoah in Jerusalem."

Do not neglect the details.

We must not be deceived by the well-known "Christian" churches that make you believe that if you attribute value to the details, little things written in the Bible, you follow the satanic path of the Pharisees. The Messiah teaches the opposite when we read it carefully in Matthew 23:23:

" Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone. "

And this request not to neglect the other apparently little things like the tithe of mint, anise and cummin is confirmed by the teaching of the parable of the talents that we read in Matthew 25: 20-21:

" 20 So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ 21 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord. "

In short, we need to deepen our knowledge more and more in the teaching provided by our Creator. All the details that we will discover, let us try to take them into account without forgetting the things that seem to us more important. But never believe that you are too clever to be taught (Mark 13: 32-36)!

" 32 But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33 Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is. 34 It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. 35 Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning— 36 lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!”»

If we are constantly awake to find and understand new knowledge given by our Lord in His Bible, we are not likely to fall into the lukewarmness.  Lukewarmness is very dangerous as you can learn from the story of the sadly famous Laodicean church mentioned in Revelation 3. Falling into lukewarmness means believing that you know everything and don’t need to make anymore progress for the rest of your life.

To convince us of the contrary, we must come back to the example of King Josiah and his attitude of perseverance that led him to rebuild the Temple of Elohim, which had fallen into ruin. Josiah at every step he made increased his knowledge in his Creator and carefully put this teaching into practice. This ultimately led him to discover the book of the law and, unlike many men of our time, to humbly acknowledge his mistakes and the mistakes of his people. Without delay or arguing, he changed his conduct accordingly. He had in this sense a unique behavior (II Kings 23: 25):

" Now before him there was no king like him, who turned to Yehoah with all his heart, with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the Law of Moses; nor after him did any arise like him.”

Let us take seed from him, and let us reject, like him, all those habits of pagan origin which envelop us and whose ignorant or ill-intentioned religious leaders make us believe that they are Christian!

Do not forget the situation in which we are (Matthew 10: 16):

“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.”

Act with firmness.

Another attribute associated with a good knowledge of our Lord is a life filled with action, a life that does not leave us passive. All the men who walked with Yehoah and whose examples you can read in the Bible have always had a life full of activities until the last day of their lives. The true Church of our Lord will not live in these last days like the world around us who are jostled from left to right without knowing where to go! The Church is expected to know in where to go and this without any question. As Daniel predicts, the believers will be able to make firm decisions even in particularly dangerous circumstances (Daniel 11: 31-32):

" 32 Those who do wickedly against the covenant he (Editor’s note: the Beast) shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their Elohim shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.
33 And those of the people who understand shall instruct many; yet for many days they shall fall by sword and flame, by captivity and plundering.”

**We need wisdom and do not forget that wisdom is a gift, simply ask for it and you should get it. If not, the risk is to remain like this world around us,  in the most complete confusion (James 1: 5-8):

" 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of Elohim, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from Yehoah; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”

People in this world will be unable to make any good decision.

Have a safe trip!

Now, you may know a little more about the treasure that the Creator has entrusted to you, namely His knowledge, the unique sources of happiness on earth. By making the right choice to enrich yourself in this knowledge, you have the opportunity to get out of this world where the fear of the unknown drives so many people to chimeras.

Your enrichment will have the further consequence of spreading around you that perfume that will cause other men to want to know your Father.

So please let us grow spiritually by following Paul's advice (Colossians 1: 9-10):

" 9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of Yehoah, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of Elohim;"

To conclude, please take the time to read Psalm 91, which will take away from you all reasons to fear from the future:

" 1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of Yehoah, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My Elohim, in Him I will trust.”
3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because you have made Yehoah, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place,
10 No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
14 “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.”

Remember always that our Savior has followed the same path and see where He is now!
