The throne and the palace of Yehoah Elohim,

A series of breathtaking visions!

The Bible reveals in many places how the throne and the palace of Yehoah Elohim (translated in most bibles by the Lord God) are looking like. The descriptions that are made are breathtaking! Some of us may have the impression that the Creator's palace is almost empty with a Divinity sitting alone on a throne far from everything and in the middle of a dead silence. Here is an essay to show you how much, according to biblical writings, the throne of Yehoah Elohim is, on the contrary, resplendent with life, activity, and beauty.

In the heavens with the earth as a footstool.

The psalmists and prophets inspired by Elohim have collected for us a lot of information that allows us to get a relatively accurate idea of the dazzling majestic beauty of the throne of Yehoah Elohim, the One who has created all what we can admire on earth and from earth in space around us.

First of all, we can read that Yehoah established his throne in heaven:

" Yehoah has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all. (Psalm 103: 19)

This throne located in heaven is also in a Holy Temple or Palace of Elohim:

" Yehoah is in His holy temple, Yehoah’s throne is in heaven; His eyes behold,

His eyelids test the sons of men. (Psalm 11: 4)

According to Paul's writings, the heavens are at least three in number:

" 2 I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, Elohim knows—such a one was caught up to the third heaven. 3 And I know such a man—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, Elohim knows— 4 how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.. (II Corinthians 12: 2-4)

Solomon knew the heaven of heavens:

" 18 But will Elohim indeed dwell with men on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less this temple which I have built! (II Chronicles 6:18)

The earth serves as a footstool to the throne of Yehoah:

34 But I (ed.: Jesus) say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is Elohim’s throne; 35 nor by the earth, for it is His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.” (Matthew 5: 34-35)

48 “However, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says: 49 ‘Heaven is My throne, and earth is My footstool. What house will you build for Me? says the Yehoah, or what is the place of My rest? 50 Has My hand not made all these things?” (Acts 7: 48-50)

This throne moves at a speed comparable to that of light.

If most of the time you imagine the throne of Yehoah in the middle of his palace, it happens that Yehoah Elohim also uses it for His travels.

Many times Yehoah came with his throne to meet the prophet Ezekiel. The prophet gives us a rather precise description of what might be called the "carriage" in which Yehoah is traveling on his throne. You will find this breathtaking description in chapters 1 and 10 of Ezekiel's book.

The throne of Yehoah appears above the firmament with which it moves and which is carried by four gigantic wheels. Each of these wheels has the color of beryl and is apparently in the middle of another wheel. We see eyes all around of their rims. Beside these wheels, we can see four animals under the firmament stretched out over their heads the color of which is like an awesome crystal. These animals are in fact four cherubim. The spirit of these cherubim is in the wheels.

These four cherubim sparkle like bronze with an appearance of hot coals and they each have four faces, one of eagle, one of lion, one human and one of ox. They have four wings covering human hands and the soles of their feet were like the soles of calves’ feet. They sparkled like the color of burnished bronze. The movement of the cherubim is done with the speed of light.

A rainbow is shining majestically all around this "coach".

It is interesting to note that this moving throne is coming from the north with a great cloud with raging fire engulfing itself; and brightness was all around it and radiating out of its midst like the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire..

But the masterpiece of the description of this "carriage" is definitely the throne itself of Yehoah who is sitting on it. This throne looks like a sapphire stone and the appearance of a man high above it. Also from the appearance of His waist and upward I saw, as it were, the color of amber with the appearance of fire all around within it; and from the appearance of His waist and downward I saw, as it were, the appearance of fire with brightness all around.

Inside the huge wheels, between the cherubim, there is a fire of burning coals that can be used to purify places soiled by men. These coals will be used to destroy men but not everyone, those who will be marked beforehand will be an exception. As can be read in Ezekiel 9 and in Revelation 7, those who will be marked are those who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done by the great majority of humanity.

But Yehoah is already sitting on His throne in heaven today with Jesus, our High Priest sitting at his right.

When the throne of Yehoah is not on the move, it is installed in His palace as we can read in Psalm 11: 4.

At the right of Yehoah's throne in heaven is Jesus, our High Priest. Jesus is there servicing Yehoah, his Father and Elohim as we can read in Hebrews 8: 1 and 12: 2

"1Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens"

"...2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of Elohim.. "

Ephesians 1: 20-23 also refers to the position and function of Jesus in the palace of Yehoah Elohim:

"20 which He (Ed. Yehoah Elohim) worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all principality[g] and power and ]might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.

22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. "

Some people have already had the privilege of sitting on one of the thrones of Yehoah during their lifetime!

Did you know that the kings David and Solomon had the great privilege of being able to sit on the throne of Yehoah? This is confirmed in some parts in the books of Chronicles:

"23 Then Solomon sat on the throne of Yehoah as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.” (I Chronicles 29:23)

Look at the words addressed by the Queen of Sheba to Solomon hereafter:

"8 Blessed be the Yehoah your Elohim, who delighted in you, setting you on His throne to be king for Yehoah your Elohim! Because your Elohim has loved Israel, to establish them forever, therefore He made you king over them, to do justice and righteousness.”. (II Chronicles 9: 8)

It is on that same throne of Yehoah that Jesus will sit at his coming.

The angel Gabriel at the announcement he made to Mary, who is still a virgin, informs her that her first-born son will receive from Yehoah the throne he had given to David some 1000 years earlier:

"32 He (Ed. Jesus) will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Yehoah Elohim will give Him the throne of His father David. 33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.” (Luke 1: 32-33)

Jesus confirms this statement in the book of Revelation:

21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.” (Revelation 3:21)

Twenty-four thrones and myriads of myriads of angels around the throne of Yehoah.

The book of Revelation, chapter 4, also reveals that around the throne of Yehoah there is a court of 24 thrones occupied by 24 elders in the service of the Creator:

4 Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads. 5 And from the throne proceeded lightnings, thunderings, and voices. Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are theseven Spirits of Elohim.

6 Before the throne there was a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back. 7 The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle. 8 The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying:

“Holy, holy, holy, Yehoah Elohim Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!”

9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:

11 “You are worthy, O Yehoah, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created.” (Revelation 4: 4-11)

In the next chapter, John describes the presence of myriads of angels around the throne of Yehoah:

11 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,…” (Revelation 5: 11)

Yehoah and all His court in action to create a new heaven, a new earth and the jewel of the new Jerusalem!

Far from being inactive, all these people, Yehoah Elohim included, are full of activity. Just as the heavens and the earth and all the living things that we can admire were originally created, so Yehoah and His servants work during the first six days of each week to create a new heaven, a new earth and of the new Jerusalem (Revelation 21):

"1Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from Elohim, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”

The continuation in chapters 21 and 22 shows how extraordinarily resplendent this city will be and it will be the new home of Yehoah Elohim with the people among us who will be born in this new creation.

It is towards this New Jerusalem that Abraham walked throughout his life following the narrow path that leads to it (Hebrews 11):

"8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. 9 By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; 10 for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is Elohim.”

If we are good imitators of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and many others like David, Paul, we will have the unspeakable happiness of being able to live in the new Jerusalem.

To succeed, it is relatively simple, just follow the advice of our Savior Jesus: lovingly observe the commandments of Elohim and these commandments are simple and can be summed up in two in Matthew 22:

« 37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love Yehoah your Elohim with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” »
